J.R.'s Superstar of the Week - CM Punk

This weeks Superstar of the week is the former OCW World and Tag Team Champion. After a week of ups and downs and one of the most amazing matches I have ever been given the opportunity to witness firsthand, CM Punk shocked the world with his betrayal of the OCW fans who had just begun taking a liking to him. More on that later
Random Mayhem thoughts:
Shawn Michaels showed why he is The Showstopper when he went one on one with the OCW Champion Randy Orton and escaped with a pinfall victory. Shawn was still sporting a bandage on his head that he recieved the night before on one of the most viscious matches I have ever called. Three stages of hell between Shawn and Hunter was finally able to bring some closure to an issue that has been brewing for the better part of 15 years.
The Daniel Bryan/Dolph Ziggler match was impressive as all hell. Daniel Bryan was able to show why he was such a force to be reckoned with the past few weeks as IC Champion when he forced the current champion to tap out to the Yes Lock. These two guys are hosses and I look forward to them moving up the card in the coming year.
Progress is being made on an OCW cookbook with CM Punkin Pie and Big Red Macaroni!
T-Richer is eerily similar to Paul Heyman in that Striker is easy to dislike in a very natural sense. Except, when T-Richer leaves the ring, one doesn’t have the urge to shower immediately unlike the World’s Most Dangerous Kool-Aid maker and ECW guru.
Everywhere I go I keep hearing 'who is this U guy?' Guys, I would tell you if I had the slightest idea what you were talking about. I do know one guy whose name starts with a U.... but no it can't be him.
This damn Alliance crap is going to give me another stroke. How many more in ring beatdowns do we have to be subjected to before the board of directors steps in and does something about this? They already have the IC and Tag Team titles in their unit. Can they weasel their way into getting the World title as well?
Speaking of weasels, The Miz was able to sneak his way into a World Title match at OCW's first PPV of the new year, Retribution. Many people, myself included, felt that this was The Heartbreak Kids turn at a championship match but that damn T-Richer and the Alliance got him into the match as well. As we recently said though, Shawn Michaels has been inserted into the match after gaining a clean pinfall victory over Randy Orton.
The Rock continues to impress as he was able to score a pinfall victory over CM Punk AND Shawn Michaels this past week. The most electrifying man in sports entertainment never ceases to amaze anyone even after dropping the 15 pounds of gold to Randy Orton. Where does The Rock go from here?
CM Punk can't seem to make up his mind whether or not he wants the fans to love him or hate him and the scary thing is I don't thing he gives a rats ass what they think about him. After earning everyones respect in a 60 minute Iron Man Match draw he was able to secure a victory to gain the Tag Titles for himself. Too bad Sheamus and Ziggler were there to ruin the party and steal the titles. Not only did they steal them, they also beat CM Punk and his handpicked partner Randy Orton the next night to secure the titles! Then that dastardly CM Punk kicked Randy Orton in the head on Thunder for no reason whatsoever!
Is anyone else sick of that bearded caveman Daniel Bryan demanding title shots and screaming No everywhere he goes? Bah gawd he almost ruined my lunch. Almost
Work is being done to improve the OCW website and if I say so myself, its looking damn good. I don't know much about computers but it sure as hell beats my website by a mile thats for sure.
Looks like we have a couple new faces around here as that monster of a man Ryback and the Rated R Superstar Edge both signed contracts. I look forward to seeing what these two can do here in OCW!
